初等部 - 1年生 国語科クイズラリー
Elementary - G1 JLA Quiz Rally

Grade 1 held the Japanese Language Arts (JLA) Quiz Rally on June 12th. At the start, they tried to find 15 plates placed around the Annex building. The plates contained sentences about animals arranged according to the text written in a “Kuchibashi (beak)” that they learned in class. After reading those sentences, the students wrote questions and answers using the sentence patterns: “What of XX is this? “ “This is YY of ZZ.” They also answered fill-in-the-blank questions. They tried very hard to read sentences and answer those questions. Though they were slightly tough for them, they worked on them enthusiastically. We could see remarkable growth in their JLA skills as well as English.
