Chachana Kanai, a sixth-grader at GKA, passed Grade 1 of the English Proficiency Test (EIKEN), which was featured in the 11 August issue of the Asahi Shimbun newspaper. A similar article was also published in Asahi Shimbun Digital on 3 August and can be viewed there if you have an account.
