    SCHOOL

    The GKA Pre-School prepares children wishing to enter GKA elementary school through attaining basic English. Familiarity with the new language will prepare them to smoothly adjust to an immersion education environment. Good friendships continue with students into the elementary school.

  • SECONDARY
    SCHOOL

    As students advance to the secondary school, they formally begin the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). While continuing the English immersion education established in the elementary school, the programme places a stronger emphasis on developing deeper thinking skills.

    From January of Grade 10, students progress to the Diploma Programme (DP), studying all subjects in English except Japanese. Our school is the only government-accredited school in Japan where all students study both the MYP and the DP in an English immersion environment.
