中高等部 始業式/Secondary school Opening ceremony

春の訪れとともに、GKA中高等部では新たな一年が始まりました。

本校では、国際バカロレア（IB）の理念に基づき、生徒一人ひとりが主体的に学び、探究を深めていく力の育成を大切にしています。今年度も、生徒が自ら問いを立て、他者と協働しながら多角的に思考する学びを通して、知識の習得にとどまらず、思考力や人間性を高めていけるよう支援してまいります。

また、本年度は新7年生を迎えるとともに、新たに5名の教員が加わりました。多様な文化的背景や経験を持つ生徒と教員が集うことで、本校の学びの環境は一層豊かなものとなっています。在学する生徒にとっても、多様な価値観や視点に触れ、視野を広げる貴重な機会となることを期待しています。

さらに、新たに高等部へ進んだ新10年生をはじめ、各学年の生徒たちにとっても、それぞれの目標に向かい成長を遂げる一年となることを願っております。

2026年度もGKAは、より良い社会の実現に貢献できる国際人の育成を目指し、教育活動のさらなる充実に努めてまいります。今後とも、本校の取り組みにご理解とご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

With the arrival of spring, a new academic year has begun at GKA Secondary School.

Guided by the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate (IB), our school is committed to nurturing students who take ownership of their learning and continue to deepen their spirit of inquiry. Throughout this year, we will support our students in developing not only knowledge, but also critical thinking and personal growth, as they formulate their own questions, collaborate with others, and engage in learning from multiple perspectives.

This year, we are pleased to welcome our new Grade 7 students, along with five new faculty members. The addition of students and educators with diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences further enriches our learning environment. We believe this will provide valuable opportunities for all students to encounter new perspectives and broaden their horizons.

In addition, we congratulate our new Grade 10 students as they begin their journey in the High School, and we look forward to a year of growth and achievement for students across all grade levels.

In the 2026 academic year, GKA will continue to strive toward developing internationally minded individuals who can contribute to a better society. We sincerely appreciate your continued understanding and support.
