G1 – Entrance Ceremony

GKAの入学式は、新1年生にとって忘れられない最初の体験となります。式は、担任の先生に先導されて新入生たちが会場に入場するところから始まります。児童たちは、GKAという文字が「Great Knowledge Adventure（知的冒険への旅）」の頭文字でもあることを学びます。学びの新たな冒険へと向かうGKAという大きな船に乗り込む子どもたちは、船長である校長に導かれ、今後6年間にわたり彼らをサポートしていく多くの先生方と対面します。最後に、GKAの教職員は、多様な出身国を祝うパレードを行い、新1年生を歓迎します。

The Entrance Ceremony at GKA is a memorable first experience for the new Grade 1 class. The event begins with a procession as the new students enter the hall led by their homeroom teachers. The students learn that the letters GKA can also stand for “Great Knowledge Adventure”. As they board the great GKA ship heading for new adventures in learning, they are led by their captain, the school principal and meet the many other teachers that will support them over the next six years. Finally, the teachers of GKA greet the new Grade 1 with a parade celebrating the many nationalities of the people working at GKA.
