G5: 米づくり体験→調理→実食・Rice Preparation



Part of the Social Studies and Home Economics curriculum in 5th grade learning the process of planting, growing, harvesting, and preparing rice for meals. All of these are done by hand! They even worked hard to separate the rice from the plant by hand.  Students then cooked the rice and made miso soup in Home Economics class.  They said it was delicious! 

It is a good chance to see how people did things in the past.
