図書室指導

GKAでは、図書室に司書が勤務しています。2万冊以上の図書を管理し、新しいものを購入したり、季節や行事に合わせた本を掲示したりしてくれています。

また、国語の授業では、子どもたちが将来自分で資料を探すことができるようになるために、毎年少しずつレベルをあげながら図書室（館）の使い方を指導してもらっています。

4年生たちは、本の奥付について学びました。調べ学習で参考文献として、どの資料で調べたのかを伝えることは大切な情報となります。

子どもたちに将来必要になってくる力を段階的に教えていっている実践の１つとなります。

Library Guidance

GKA has a librarian working in the library who manages more than 20,000 books, purchases new ones, and displays books according to seasons and events.

In addition, in Japanese classes, the students are taught how to use the library, raising the level a little each year so that they will be able to search for materials on their own in the future.

The fourth graders learned how to find the information about a book. It is important information to tell which material was used as a reference in research studies.

This is one of the practices that we are teaching our students step by step in order to teach them the skills they will need in the future.
