G3 – Drawing Nature

第3学年　自然を描く

先日、3年生は春の自然を楽しみながら、英語の力を伸ばす機会を持ちました。

児童たちは、花や木、あるいは昆虫など、自然界にあるものを一つ見つけるよう指示されました。その対象を描いて色を塗り、さらに形容詞を使ってその対象について説明する文章を作成しました。完成した作品からは、彼らの芸術的な作品も言語力もどちらもうかがえます。

Recently, Grade 3 had an opportunity to enjoy the nature of springtime and develop their English skills at the same time.  Students were instructed to find a natural object such as a flower, tree, or even an insect.  They drew and colored the object, then composed descriptive sentences using adjectives to talk about the object.  You can see both their artistic talent and their language skills in the finished product.
