G6 – Respiration and Circulation

6年生は現在、理科の授業で「人やほかの動物の体のつくりとはたらき」について学んでいます！その仕組みを体感するため、子どもたちはある実験を行いました。まず、安静時の呼吸数、脈拍、そして体温を測定。その後、5分間全力で走った直後に再び同じ測定を行い、結果を比較しました。

科学的なアプローチで正確なデータを集めた結果、自分たちの仮説をしっかりと検証することができました。子どもたちにとっては、まるで理科の授業に体育の要素が混ざったような、楽しくてアクティブな時間となったようです！

Grade 6 is currently exploring respiration and circulation in science class! To see these systems in action, the students conducted an exciting experiment: they measured their baseline respiration, pulse, and body temperature, and then compared those numbers to their measurements after 5 minutes of active running.

By following careful scientific methods, they gathered accurate data that successfully supported their hypotheses. From the students’ perspective, it was a fantastic mix of physical education and hands-on science!
