Feel度Walk
私たちは、効率よく日常生活を送る中で、
GKA中等部では、
Feel度Walkでは、「何を探せばいいのかわからない」
As we go about our daily lives efficiently, our sensitivity to the things around us and to what is happening within ourselves can gradually become dull without us even realizing it. At the same time, there are countless things in the world that make us think, “That’s interesting,” or “I wonder what that is,” without us even setting out to look for something.
At GKA Secondary, students take part in Feel-do Walk as part of their school trip. Guided by small feelings of curiosity and the sense that “something catches my attention,” students look for things that they find interesting. They sketch what catches their eye and then use their sketches as a starting point to imagine stories, ask questions, and write down their thoughts and impressions.
In Feel-do Walk, we intentionally value the state of not knowing exactly what to look for. Rather than trying to find an answer right away, students simply walk, stop, observe, and move closer to whatever catches their attention. Through this repeated process, we hope that our GKA students will gradually sharpen their sensitivity to their own “I wonder…” moments and develop the ability to find interest and curiosity in the world around them.
