ジョン・ニッセル杯 / The John Nissel Cup
上智大学では、2011年度から高校生による英語弁論大会「ジョン・ニッセル杯」が開催されており、第9回となる今年度大会が11月16日に開催されました。全国から多くの高校生が参加する大変ハイレベルなこの大会で本選に出場した20名の中に、本校生徒2名（11年生 山田麻心さん、佐野智咲さん）が選ばれました。その中で山田さんは第3位に入賞しました。おめでとうございます。
ジョン・ニッセル杯は例年8月下旬に1次審査の応募期限があります。興味のある人は是非来年以降参加してみてください。
Sophia University holds All Japan High Scholl English Speech Contest for the John Nissel Cup since 2011. The contest this year was held on Saturday, 16th November, 2019. In this very competitive English speech contest, 2 GKA students (G11 Mako Yamada and Chisaki Sano) were qualified for ones of the 20 final speakers. Among them, Mako got the third prize. Congratulations!
The deadline of the application for the contest normally comes in August. If you are interested, please consider applying next year.
