MYP説明会開催 / MYP Explanatory Meeting

2019年2月20日(水)、来年度から中等部全学年を対象に開始されるMYPの説明会を開催いたしました。 MYP（Middle Years Programme）は、スイス・ジュネーブに本部を持つ国際バカロレア（IB）機構が提供する国際的な教育プログラムであるIB（International Baccalaureate＝国際バカロレア）の中等教育カリキュラムで、11歳から16歳の生徒を対象としたものです。

GKAでは既に高等部生を対象にDP（Diploma Programme）を実施していますが、2019年3月1日よりMYP候補校として正式に認められました。

説明会には200名近い保護者の方々にご参加いただきました。授業、評価、成績、学校行事など、多くの変更点についてお話しさせていただきましたが、今後のGKAの方向性を感じていただけたのではないでしょうか。

当日ご参加いただけなかったご家庭に向けては、当日の資料等は近日中にオンラインで共有させていただきます。

On 20th February, we held a MYP Explanatory Meeting. MYP is a program offered by IBO for students of age 11 to 16.

GKA has been offering the DP(Diploma Program) for G11 and G12 students, but this time, GKA has been accepted as a MYP candidate school on March 1st 2019.

Almost 200 parents joined in the explanatory meeting. We talked about the changes regarding lesson, assessment, grading and school event, etc. We hope that they gained a clear idea about the direction of GKA Secondary School.

We are planning to share the handouts from the explanatory meeting online soon for those who could not attend.
